COVID-19 SAFETY GUIDELINES:

  • All classes have been reduced to allow a limited number of participants to take class. Our class sizes are currently at an 8 person maximum occupancy to allow adequate space for social distancing. 

  • Everyone must pre-register for dance classes online, by phone or schedule an appointment to register in person. 

  • All students must enter studio with mask. Upon entry, temperature will be checked. 

  • All students must wash hands before and after class. 

  • No visitors are allowed in the waiting area. No lingering around before or after classes. 

  • We ask that parents just drop off, and pick up at door. Staff member will be available for assistance with small children.

  • Social Distance rules will apply, everyone stays 6′ apart in their designated area.

  • Please email or call us instead of coming in if you have any questions.

Our staff & Instructors are:

  • wearing mask and having their temperature checked upon entry.

  • washing hands before and after each class. 

  • cleaning surfaces and equipment before and after each class. This includes, but not limited to: -stereo - light switches -door handles -bathroom - front desk - waiting room benches -cubbies - dance floor - mirrors, etc..

We at ADE are grateful for our clients and take their health and ours very seriously. We are practicing best safety measures to limit the exposure of COVID 19. We respect and understand if you are not ready to come back to class in-studio just yet. We ask that you consider joining our ONLINE classes made flexible for Adult and Youth. YOUTH DANCE ACADEMY POLICIES

 

Dress Code

  • Students must wear clothing that is comfortable and does not restrict movement (No denim)

  • Girls: Black leotard, suntan dance tights, black dance shorts                    Boys: Black/white t-shirt, black pants

  • ballet, tap, and jazz shoes required

Class Cancellations and Inclement Weather

  • In case of inclement weather or severe weather advisories, the Youth Dance Academy may cancel classes.

  • In the event that classes are canceled due to inclement weather, make-up classes will not be scheduled. However, in order to prepare for the end-of-year Showcase the studio extended hours and create a flex schedule.

Attendance and Punctuality

  • Students should arrive to class on time. If student will be late, please contact us (678) 889-0628.

Absences and Make-up Classes

  • If your student has a planned absence, an ongoing illness, or injury please notify us.

  • Students with multiple, unknown absences shall receive a call home.

  • Students with poor class attendance, may not participate in parts or all of the end-of-year Showcase

  • There is no refund for missed classes.

Classes and Instruction

  • Atlanta Dance Exchange and instructors are not liable for any injuries sustained while a student is in class, or on the premises.

  • No video, audio, photo or any other recordings are allowed in the studios, with the exception of observation days.

  • Parents are not allowed in the studios before, during or after class. Parents are welcome to observe classes during observation days only.

Registration

  • All initial registration fees and tuition are due by the first day of each class, per semester.

  • A non-refundable registration fee is due with the initial payment for the semester.

  • Atlanta Dance Exchange accepts cash, checks, Visa, MasterCard.

  • All checks should be made payable to “Atlanta Dance Exchange.”

  • $25 fee will be charged for returned checks.

Refund Policy

  • In order to receive a refund, students must withdraw before the second class. The amount refunded will be less the cost of the first class, and will not include the non-refundable registration fee.

  • Tuition fees paid are forfeited and no refunds will be offered following the second class of each semester.

  • There is NO fee credit for missed classes during the semester.

2. What ages can participate in the Youth Dance Academy?

 

Youth Dance Academy is open to boys and girls ages 3 - 17 years old.

3. Do you offer other classes ?

Each year we aim to please our clients and audiences and provide a variety of dances. Please check back with us each semester to see our updated schedule of classes.

4. Do I have to pay the registration fee every time I register?

 

The registration fee is one time for the full year (Fall & Spring). If you register for Fall Semester you do not have to pay registration fee for Spring Semester. If you are a new student registering for Spring Semester you must pay the $20 registration fee.

5. Where are you located?

 

We are located in the city of Norcross, GA, at 5245 Langford Park Drive (Exit 31B off of I-285).
