Dear Visitors, Customers, and Prospective Donors:
We opened our dance studio in January 2019, just a year ago and have been so excited to share our dance floor with students, young and old. Unfortunately, we had to close our studio on March 16 of this year due to the Covid 19 pandemic. The temporary closure left us with so much uncertainty of our future.
We lost 75% of our clients during this pandemic and had no income to sustain our studio for months. Many of our instructors are self employed contractors and rely on families tuition fees and class costs to support themselves. Our families have also been put under financial strain, leaving us to suspend tuition payments and restructure our plans.
We are asking for a bit of financial relief to help us make it through the next couple of months. Any funds raised through this campaign will directly benefit Atlanta Dance Exchange by helping us to keep up on our monthly rent payments, utilities, and instructor pay.
Our instructors have been very diligent and provided free online dance classes to the public to keep the morale up. We have now moved into Phase 1 of our re-opening our studio, but with very limited spots for participants. We are working really hard to rebuild ourselves, but our studio expenses are piling up and bills need to be paid. Without the support of our dance family and clients, our studio is in grave danger!
Please give as generously as you can. We understand many of us are experiencing a deep financial hurt due to the situation so we are extremely grateful for whatever you can give!
